Some Guitars
I've realized that I haven't played my guitar for a solid year, and I think it's about time that I get back into it. I got caluses on the palms of my hands from the gym I started going to, so why not get some on my fingers too from the strings of my telecaster?

Josef Fritzl has broken his silence about why he kept his daughter as a sex slave in a dungeon for 24 years.
Mr Fritzl, who fathered seven children by his daughter after abusing her in the cellar of his house in eastern Austria, claimed that he was obsessed with a desire to have a family with her because she was a “great housewife and a mother”.
The retired electrical engineer, who is currently on remand facing a range of possible charges including manslaughter and rape, also revealed that he projected on to Elisabeth, now 42, the incestuous desires he had for his own mother.

Wild Life
A design that my friends' bf, Scott, has made for his bicylcing-late-at-night club/gang. It was just black & white, so I decided to color to see how it would look. There it is.
Flight?
An amazing flight with my friend Dane, who I have known since kindergarten. He's going to be a private helicopter pilot. He's got about 150 hours under his belt which is good. He needs 200 before he can become an instructor at his flight school. Pretty cool to think we have know each other and been friends that long on the ground, and now we're flying together. Pretty rad to see Simi, Camarillo, Agoura, Oak Park, Westlake, and the Valley from 6oo ft. up. Too bad it was overcast, otherwise we'da seen Long Beach, and Downtown LA.
We left the Van Nuys airport around 6:30 and flew for about an hour and a half. Rad!

Death Cab's New Album
First of all, I think the album artwork for this cd is radical, and for those who didn't know,this is the sixth full length album from Death Cab for Cutie is coming out soon, and I cannot wait. I fell in love with 'I Will Possess Your Heart.' The bass-line throughout is so erie, and some of his lyrics are also a bit creepy. For example, "There are days when outside your window, I see my reflection as I slowly pass, Then I long for this mirrored perspective, When we'll be lovers, Lovers at last." A little stalkerish, but oh so good. Comes out in a few days: May 12. Be sure to download it legally.
